Meppad/Odangara sampradya was one of the oldset sampradya of shaktism practiced in North kerala.The Meppad Kalari was the place were the Gurukkals of Meppad pratice the Tantric rituals.They were very powerfull in healing. They were famous for their mantravadam and ayurvedic treatment.they were scholars and shaktipuja vidhanam in most of the Tharavadu was compiled by them .all the rituals what they practiced was kept as great secretand the vidhanam is really fruitfull and it has proven by the parampara and it is one among the genuine and difficult to get.
